There's no reason to be optomistic about something the evidence and statements already discount. Compare prices of over 40 stores to find best deals for Just Cause 2: Multiplayer Mod in digital distribution. Be optomistic that the world will be improved based on footage shown.
Download and install the the location of your choice. If you open up Steam and go 'Library > Tools' and find 'Just Cause 2: Multiplayer - Dedicated Server. Includes 32 items: Just Cause, Just Cause 2, JC2 DLC: Black Market Aerial Pack, Just Cause 2 - Black Market 'Boom' Pack DLC, JC2 DLC - Bull's Eye Assault Rifle, JC2 DLC - Rico's Signature Gun, JC2 DLC - Chevalier Classic, JC2 DLC - Agency Hovercraft, Just Cause 2 DLC - Monster Truck, Just Cause 3 - Combat Buggy, Just Cause 3 - Mini-Gun Racing. The easiest way to do this is run the server through Steam (the computer you are playing on is fine). Be optimistic the game will run better based on the new engine. If you just want to play on LAN with a couple of friends, that's fine. If you are going to hope then hope for things that can be reasonably backed up. And no amount of blind optimism is going to change that, all blind optimism will do is lead to people being disappointed because they got their hopes up for something that evidence already shows isn't happening. If there's any chance of Just Cause getting official multiplayer it will be with a future installment, not this one. So to put it simply it's flat out not going to happen for JC4. Just that they themselves weren't going to do it. And at no point did they say there was no need for a mod. So like I said, a reason for leaving: wanting to work on something different. That's more than enough in our opinion, we think another multiplayer modification would hurt the franchise"
Another reason was the fact that the Just Cause franchise already got 2 free multiplayer mods made by its fans. In their own words posted on this subreddit "we've made 4 multiplayers in 3 franchises so far.
On top of this unless they are planning to load up this fabled official multiplayer mode with microtransactions or charge for it separately (both of which would gain them large amounts of fan backlash) then there is no real value in them spending all the time necessary post launch to add it unless again they were using it as a marketing tool to sell more copies now.Īlso the mod creators didn't quit because they didn't feel the need to make it. It would make no sense to hold off and announce it later when people can get the game cheaper. Most likely their co op shooter Generation Zero.Īnd if they really were planning a official multiplayer they would be using it for marketing to help sell copies. But, it would be sad at least for me that it may not have a multiplayer mode. The creator of the multiplayer mod who got hired is already known to be working on a different project within Avalanche. All games should have that option to be honest. I am Cuban and I always wanted a game that was based of Cuba and now I got it.
So I am assuming this one wont have any multiplayer. Then we saw a multiplayer in far cry 4 and 5.
Some people have to pick one game and marry to it, instead of playing them all. The Superman Flying, First Person Shooter, and Island in Chaos mods have been included because of their victories in the 2010, 2011, and 2013 modding competitions. Some people just ignored it cause of other games at the moment. I loved the multiplayer in far cry 3 even more. They reduced the size on far cry 2 but still was awesome for the team deathmatch and custom maps. It had massive maps like battlefield 2 and was also a kind of modern warfare, but with merc soldiers and also vehicles. Far Cry 1 had one of the best multiplayer modes I have ever played.
